With their coastline and a fantastic history and tradition for boat construction, Holbæk Kommune has a huge potential in the maritime area that they would like to share with even more. Therefore, they want to attract new citizens as well as tourists who can contribute to the development of the municipality.
Holbæk Kommune wanted a further development of their existing Umbraco solution on their "Welcome to Holbæk" site in terms of new features as well as the opportunity to create a theme site about the maritime life in Holbæk.
A further development of the existing Umbraco solution on their "Welcome to Holbæk" site focusing on scalability. This allows Holbæk Kommune to create more campaign sites, which has recently resulted in their new campaign site about the maritime life in Holbæk.
A solution that with its scalability ensures that the site is future-proof if the municipality wants more campaign sites. At the same time, Holbæk Kommune has now got a campaign site, which is visually more modern than the classic municipality site.
"I think it's nice that you can use the elements freely. Compared to the current system where it is already decided where the elements should be. With the grids, you can move things around and decide where you want the elements to be placed."
